Explain that you will be calling out categories, and in 20 seconds or less they must join with others who fit the same description that they do -- so everyone must work quickly! To begin, have the whole group mill around, mixing randomly until you call out a category. Call time after 20 seconds, and see how people grouped themselves. Then have everyone mix around the room again until you call a new category. Continue as time allows. Use the following categories, or make up your own: same hair color same birthday month same color shoes had the same thing for breakfast same age same favorite food watched the same show on TV last night same favorite drink same favorite grocery store live in the same color building or house Option: You can also play this as an elimination game. Those who don’t find at least one partner each round have to sit down until only one or two players are left. share this article 1 of 1 /// Related Articles Get Off My BackUse this mixer, to help get everyone out of their seats and meet new people.
