The Ultimate Game Guid Everyone has a special talent and unique experiences, but sometimes they are hidden, so no one else knows about them. The goal of this game is to reveal those gifts to the rest of the group. For this icebreaker, you'll need 15 dried beans per person. If you don’t have beans handy, you can use pennies, marbles, toothpicks, or any other small and easy-to-find object. Form groups of five, and then have each group sit in a circle. Give each person 15 beans. Explain that everyone should try to collect beans by describing their unique experiences or abilities. For example, a person might tell about running in a marathon, being able to recite all the books of the Bible, or a passion for painting with watercolors. Whatever activity they describe must be absolutely true. After someone shares a unique activity or ability, each group member who has not done that activity or does not have that ability must give that person one bean. Have participants take turns listing their unique experiences and abilities until each person has shared 10 activities. After everyone in each group has listed 10 activities, see who has the most beans. This is a fun one to ask for a few people to tell about interesting things they learned about their small group members with the larger group. share this article 1 of 1 /// Related Articles A+ RecruitingPutting the right people in the right seats can be one of the most daunting responsibilities you have as you develop and build your small-group ministry teams.
